KAMPEN INTERNATIONAL ORGAN ACADEMY

The Kampen International Organ Academy Foundation (KIOA) is located in the Hanseatic city of Kampen (NL). KIOA aims to promote the art of organ, through organ courses, master classes, concerts and lectures. The Hinsz organ in the Bovenkerk or Sint-Nicolaaskerk is central to this endeavour. The Festival of the International Kampen Organ Academy will be held in the month of October and consists of masterclas ses, lectures, and recitals. Application can be made as an active or non-active participant.

The academy is open to organ students, professional organists, and semi-professional organists. Participants will work with international specialists on repertoire specifically suited to the characteristics of the Hinsz-organ in the Bovenkerk in Kampen. At the end of the festival, participants will be selected to give a public recitals on the Hinsz-organ.

Participants in the academy have free access to all activities and concerts during the festival. Study organs will also be available in Kampen.
